I am finding the story in Acts 20:7-12 very funny this morning. Here is the story in my own words. Paul is heading to an uncertian fate in Jerusalem. (sound familiar-Jesus) He wants to train and encourage the people at Troas. He teaches and THEY listen until midnight. A young man seated in the window goes to sleep and falls out the third story window. He's dead. Paul pauses his teaching session, goes down and throws himself on the young man and brings him back to life. He goes back upstairs, breaks bread and teaches until daylight. Seriously, people were willing to lisiten to him for many hours, we don't even like hour church services, a young man falls asleep while he is teaching, falls out the window and dies, almost like a soap opera. Paul is unshaken, he heals the boy and continues teaching until morning. No distractions could keep Paul from sharing the news he needed to share. Life is so full of distractions. How many of your distractions keep you from sharing the good news?
